Humble Beginnings…

Well, here we are.  My first attempt at blogging.  I must say, this will be a challenge.  Diaries and journals-not for me.  Hell, I barely keep up with my e-mail. 

You may be asking, “Why is this any different other than it being in an electronic format?”  Excellent question.  My goal with this blog is not to create a diary or journal, or any kind of daily thought record. It is to inform, reveal and inspire others regarding all things DESIGN.  But, not to tell you I think something is a must have or see simply because I think it is cool.  It is to introduce you to architecture and design while providing historical and cultural context, so that you can develop an expansive foundation from which you draw your references and inspirations.

So, sit back and relax.  I ask that you bear with me in the upcoming weeks as I compile a list of topics that will not only captivate you, but also keep you coming back time and again…whatever your reasons may be.
